About
I'm Abbey O'Brien, and I am a Media & Technology reporter working towards my master's degree in journalism at NYU. After earning my degree in business and information technology at Georgia Tech, I began my career at NBCUniversal, working behind the scenes in operations and technology to help film and television reach national audiences.
Today, I cover AI, data centers, energy, and infrastructure at Ulteig, a Midwest-based design engineering firm. Originally from Atlanta but now working out of the Greater New York City area, my expertise focuses on where media, technology, and the environment meet.
